Hey everyone and welcome to my first interview in english! I've interviewed a brazilian actress before so if you speak portuguese check it out (if you speak spanish you might also understand i'm not really sure lol).

At the beginning of my blogging experience I did some interviews with big instagrammers as well but unfortunately I lost all of them.

Now back to the post, I believe some of you have seen Lisa Autumn and her blog before, where she gives makeup advices, share her fashion favorites and talks about life. So to get you to know Lisa better and to introduce the ones who don't know her yet to her black, blush and marble world I decided to do a little interview with her.

What got you into blogging?

I started very early in 2008 with my sister. We had a blog called "Sisters Closet". We mainly talked about things that we loved. Like the MTV Show "The Hills" or new drugstore makeup. We/I started because I remember looking for style inspiration online and found a girl called Andy from Stylescrapbook. And she was not a model, not a celebrity but yet she had her own website where she shared what she was loving. That was a whole new world to me and I knew I wanted to do the same thing. My sister stopped a few months later and I took over the blog myself. After a couple of years I stopped as life got really busy. I started again in August 2016. And here I am.

What do you think are the worst and best part of being a blogger?

Honestly I can't think of anything negative. The only thing that is a bit scary is putting yourself out there without thinking who might read whatever you are writing. The best thing for sure is meeting new people and get inspired by them.

How would do describe your own personal style?

My style is pretty classy, elegant, feminine and not very trendy or exciting. So I wouldn't say I am the biggest style inspiration haha.

Where do you find inspiration for blog posts?

I personally just try think about what I would like to read.

Where do you see your blog in the next five years?

I hope to continue with my blog for way longer than 5 years. I would like to see it grow and change with me. But I personally don't see myself doing blogging full time. But who knows?

Is there a person that is a fashion inspiration to you?

I really love Lydia Elise Millen's style. Lauren Conrad is also a big inspiration for me since years and years.

What is a fashion item that you cannot live without?

I could never ever live without dresses. I always wear them.. winter, summer.. ALWAYS! I don't even own a pair of jeans or trousers. Okay for working out I do wear leggings but that's as far at it goes.

Do you have a skincare routine? If so what does it consist of?

In the morning I try to keep it simple and use some micellar water to clean my skin from any oil or dirt. Then I use the Hyaluronic Acid by The Ordinary and use a light moisturizer like Cliniques Moisture Surge. In the evenings I put in a bit more effort. I take my makeup of with any kind of oily cleanser I have at hand and also use my micellar water afterwards. Then I either use the Lactic Acid or the Advanced Retinoid Emulsion by The Ordinary. Afterwards I use my eyecream, Clinique All About Eyes and then I use the Clarins Blue Orchid Faceoil.

What is an under-rated beauty brand/products that everyone should know about?

Oh this is so hard. I mainly use pretty popular brands anyway. For skincare I would say The Ordinary deserves even more hype when you consider their price point. And makeup wise I love the Rodial Illuminating Powder, a very subtle highlight. You can't go wrong with it. And the Double Wear Concealer by Estee Lauder. I don't know why more people don't talk about it. It's not heavy at all like the foundation. It blends in perfectly with my skin and still gives an amazing coverage.

Do you have any tips and tricks to those who want to start a blog?

Honestly do it. It's so much fun. But never ever do it to get brand deals. This will come naturally with time. But it really takes a lot of time and work. So if you only do it for money/ products you will most likely give up before you are there. And don't try to over-analyze what you should post about. Just write about things that you would love to read. This will come the most natural to you and your readers will love that!

Thank you so much Lisa for answering these! I've always felt insecure about posting in english because it's not my first language so it feels good to see someone doing the same and having such an amazing and inspiring blog.
